About me
I first picked up a Single Reflex Camera (SLR) when my art teacher in school introduced me to photography & using the school darkroom.
Later I met my life partner who was studying photography at the time and this opened the world of photography even more for me as she had her own darkroom.
Later working life took over for both of us & the 2 SLR cameras were hidden away in the attic for a good few years until one life changing event happened.
The little lady to the right was born and as new parents we wanted to catch the special moments.
We traded in the two SLR cameras, along with the lenses and upgraded to our first digital SLR.
This time around photography was so much simpler than before. There was no need to black out the box room and play with chemicals and as the results were instant you could experiment much much more. Not only with the camera but in the digital dark room that is lightroom & photoshop.
Everyday I try to develop my photography skills more and more and find solutions to problems, be it through the lens or in the digital darkroom
Over the past 12 years I have experimented with most genres of photography but have found Landscape, wildlife & sports the type of photography I really love. Having said that once i hear the zoom zoom click click I'm happy.
